GOODBYE CANADA

This is to summarize the second part of our trip. After leaving Calgary we headed for Banff and Jasper National Parks. First stop Lake Louise again and then we drove to Emerald Lake (Stefan, we couldn't miss it after your recommendation and it was worthy to go!!) and then to Bow Lake and marvellous Peyto Lake. Our first aim was accomplished the following day, going to the Columbia Icefields and Athabasca Glacier. It was so shinny, as well. After Sunwapta and Athabasca Falls and Jasper we stopped at Mount Robson Provincial park (and we entered Pacific Time!) and slept in Wells Gray Provincial Park keeping an eye on a bear that was wandering the previous day there. It's not so popular among tourists but very beautiful. As we had to take the ferry to Vancouver Island and had quite lots of km ahead we had to decide to go towards Kamloops, Hope and Mission and miss Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley. We are sorry Stef but when we come back one day we'll go there for sure!. Once on Van Island we spent the afternoon in Parksville looking at the Sand sculptures and being surprised for the amount of oysters warehouses around the area. Central Van Island is pretty nice and we loved the day we spent in Seal Nature Bay and Miracle Park. Our second aim was in Telegraph Cove and we got it: we saw killer whales and more bearsand we also discovered more about First Nations people in Alert Bay. Next stop, Mount Washington, Cumberland and Cathedral Grove (Joan found the tree where to get stuck so as not to go back work!!) and Ucluelet at last. We know now why Pacific Rim National Park is worldwide known because it's awesome. We loved its beaches, frainforests, wildlife, coves.....After five days there we drove towards Victoria a pretty medium sized town in an English atmosphere. And our last stop Vancouver. It's so nice! Big but quiet, modern but stylish....And finally we flew to Toronto. Just to catch a glimpse of it.

We have great memories from this trip, our first overseas trip. It is different when a local shows you their country and for that reason we feel now a bit Canadians we are very happy we could come and you opened your country to us. You will be always in our hearts.

Bon dia Albert,
Us agrairiem molt que ho poguessim fer. Una abraçada. Anna
